It’s Christmas!!

Thanks to everybody who attended our Christmas event last week, no doubt there are lots of houses smelling of citrus and spices now, from the oranges, lemons and limes we decorated with ribbons and whole cloves. People also made their own Christmas cards based on a tree motif, you can see a few examples here.

Lizzy Bean came back to see us and worked with visitors to finish off the mosaic pavers that we are going to incorporate into our new wildlife/seating area. We hope you’ll agree they look fantastic and we can’t wait until we can install them outside. No-one went home hungry as we had hearty Pumpkin soup on the stove and the left over slices of pumpkin were also given away. What a great way to get into the Christmas spirit!

Just a reminder that we have now broken up for the Xmas holidays and we start back on Wed 7th Jan with our usual 10am-12pm allotment session, followed by tea and biscuits (approx 12-1pm). If you (or anyone you know) feel like getting out a bit more, meeting people and being more active – to a level you are comfortable with – then simply come along and join in, you will be very welcome.
